Living from the Soul. Walking the Eternal Path.
Welcome to Soul Sanatan – a sacred space born from love, simplicity, and the timeless teachings of Sanatana Dharma. This is more than a website; it’s a soulful journey — for anyone seeking to reconnect with purity, peace, and purpose.
“Sanatan” – A Sanskrit word meaning eternal, timeless, or perennial.
It refers to Sanatana Dharma, the eternal truth or way of righteous living — the original spiritual path of Hindu philosophy, not confined by any founder or fixed time. Sanatana Dharma teaches harmony with nature, compassion, truthfulness, self-realization, and spiritual evolution.
“Soul” – Refers to the Atman, the pure, divine essence within each of us. The soul in Sanatana Dharma is believed to be immortal, unchanging, and a reflection of the Supreme Consciousness (Brahman).
Living in alignment with your eternal, true self (the soul).
Following a spiritual path rooted in ancient, timeless values.
Embracing the principles of Sanatana Dharma — compassion, purity, truth, and inner peace.
Recognizing that your soul is not separate from the divine, but one with it
In Sanskrit, Sanatan means eternal. It refers to the eternal dharma — the natural, unchanging truth of the universe.
Soul, or Atman, is the divine essence within each of us.
Together, Soul Sanatan represents a life lived from the inside out — a path where the soul leads, and dharma guides.
This is the heart of everything I do:
To live and serve in alignment with truth, simplicity, and inner light.
To honor our ancestors, our traditions, and our sacred responsibilities.
To cook, offer, and share food that nourishes both body and spirit.
Founder of Soul Sanatan, Aru is a homemaker, mother, and soulful guide based in Rishikesh, the yoga capital of India. Rooted in the values of Sanatana Dharma, with a heart full of love and a kitchen full of healing flavors, Aru welcomes you to experience simplicity, spirituality, and soul nourishment — the Indian way.
I’m Aru — a simple homemaker living in the yoga capital of the world, Rishikesh, where every corner echoes with chants, simplicity, and spiritual energy.
I’m a proud mother of two beautiful girls, and like most Indian mothers, my day often begins in the kitchen — with the aroma of spices, boiling chai, and lots of love. Over the years, my passion for home cooking turned into a deeper connection with the Satvik way of life — cooking not just to feed, but to heal and nourish.
Living in this sacred town, surrounded by yogis, seekers, and the serene Ganga, I felt inspired to offer more — not just food, but experiences rooted in Indian tradition.
What started in my little home has now grown into Soul Sanatan.
Everything I do comes from my heart, my home, and my belief in the beauty of simplicity. Whether you’re visiting Rishikesh or connecting with me online, I welcome you with open arms, warm food, and peaceful vibes.
Let’s share stories, meals, and moments — the Indian way.
Thank you for visiting this space. It’s my honor to share what I love, what I live, and what I continue to learn. If our paths cross, in spirit or in person, may it be joyful, uplifting, and full of light.
✨ With love,
Aru
